Truth (post dare)
April 2, 2008 by soozadoo

My Dare was a self portrait. I did it in the The Boy’s room, angling the mirror on his cupboard door so I could make sure I didn’t have a double chin. I could see what I was photographing reflected in the camera display. I put on make up so I wasn’t all washed out spotty and hideous. And I deleted all the closed eye, squished up face, unflattering ones.
And I ran a photoshop filter through it to make the light look softer. Slight vignette and blur to frame it up nicely.
Smoke and mirrors baby!
Hey, I’m not stupid!
All this with my dying Minolta Dimage Z. I covet one of these Nikon D40. The DSLR for the lazy. When I get one of those I’ll be happy to take photos of all the lovely ladies within driving distance.

Ooh! Ooh!! Pick me, pick me!!
See - you don’t actually need a pink dress to be Bee-you-tiful.
what about me, you could get on a plane to sidonee and foto-graf me, - it would still be cheaper than filling up the car and driving to the strand!
i love the photos of you and “imgin”, they are fantastic!
Why is Imogen so shy and lacking in self-confidence???
cough cough
I KNOW she’s not looking at you in the mirror!
Love your photos!! And the colour of the wall behind you - what is it called? Oh and your caption is great - where bad mothers come to play!! I’ll make a playdate!
